The thing that you're missing here is that Mac OS X doesn't share iOS's limitation about which apps can be installed. WIth iOS, the only (reasonable) way to provide free/review copies of an app is to use a promo code because there is no other (reasonable) way to get the app onto non-jailbroken iPhones.

How about a plugin that fixes Safari's tiny printing of webpages? I can scale it up, and reuse the blank pages that print, but then the left margin gets cut off on several diff printers.

Producer gives you some options and lacks some from the web based service. I can't use the free version of the Producer to co-host, add text, or show videos on YouTube.

Also, while you can have more than one camera plugged un, you can't switch while you are broadcasting, I think the Pro version can do that.

All app stores - I mentioned the 2008 date because that was the first time Apple's ever released an app store. Downloads are cumulative.

I've tried it. I used to use Grumlr as I thought it was the more consistent with Google Reader app. Reeder is so much better, smarter, better looking. I did not spot any bug, and don't mind for the missing features that much.
